                                                    These indicators measure the temperature of

                                                    molten metal in a furnace or ladle.

                                                    The complete system consists of an immersion lance with

                                                    a thermocouple (V-Tip or V-Multidip), Compensating Cable and

                                                    Instrument. The lance is immersed into the molten metal bath and the

                                                    total measurement is completed within three-five seconds. The temperature

                                                    plateau detection software ignores erratic and transient readings caused by furnace

                                                    hot spots, spikes in electric supply, slag etc. A printer for record purpose or external large

                                                    display for remote sensing can be connected to the instrument.
